Job Description:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Inventory Assistant to join our dedicated team.
In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently unpacking merchandise, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and providing support to various departments within the company.
Your contribution will be vital to ensuring smooth inventory management and efficient order fulfillment processes.
Key
Responsibilities:
Unpacking Merchandise:
Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail when carefully unpacking items from cardboard boxes and wood crates, minimizing the risk of damage.
Adhere to proper handling techniques and safety protocols during the unpacking process.
Support to Processing and Photography Teams:
Collaborate with the inventory processor to transport pieces to the processing area and assist photographers as directed.
Utilize tools such as drills to assist the photography team in installing wall lights and chandeliers on faux walls and ceilings.
Order Fulfillment:
Locate products for pending orders and ensure their readiness for inspection by the inventory processor.
Assist with preparing items for packing or coordinate necessary repairs with the in-house electrician, woodworker, or other relevant departments after inspection.
Packing for Shipping:
Skillfully pack small items, including vases, table lamps, wall lights, and small mirrors, using appropriate packaging materials and techniques to guarantee their safe transportation.
Employ effective packaging methods to prevent damage during shipping.
Errand Management:
Perform various errands, such as dropping off packages at shipping centers and picking up items from upholsterers, woodworkers, and external service providers.
Inventory Organization:
Follow internal procedures and guidelines to maintain effective inventory organization.
Ensure accurate labeling, categorization, and proper storage of products.
Additional Tasks:
Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to assist with other warehouse tasks as needed to contribute to the overall efficiency of warehouse operations.
Requirements:
High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
Strong organizational skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and lift moderately heavy objects.
Knowledge of basic tools and equipment, such as drills, for installations.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
Prior experience in a warehouse or inventory-related role is preferred but not required.
Basic knowledge of iOS and technology.
Possession of a clean driver's license.
