The Department of Clinical Sciences in the Fred Wilson School of Pharmacy at High Point University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position.
The person in this position is responsible for teaching Pharm.
D students, and providing service to the Fred Wilson School of Pharmacy, University and the greater High Point community.
This will be advanced by collaborations maintained by the individual.
The estimated distribution of effort for this individual at program maturity (i.
e.
, when a full faculty cohort is hired) will be 10% research, 50-60% teaching and 30-40% service.
Academic rank will be commensurate with experience.

, Fellowship, PGY1/PGY2 residency, MHA, MPH) and professional certifications (e.

, BCPS) are preferred Candidates with a Pharm.
D.
should be eligible for pharmacist licensure in North Carolina Experience in applied health services research, phamacoeconomics, public health or other similar quantitative/social sciences areas is preferred Experience with curricular assessment is preferred Demonstrated record of excellence in teaching and a commitment to excellence in pharmacy education and research is preferred Experience working with students as a faculty mentor or preceptor is preferred Knowledge, Skills, Ability:
Excellent verbal and written communication and computer skills Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others Skill dealing with a diverse group of people Ability to write scholarly documents Ability to work with and teach using electronic medical records Intermediate to advanced level ability in statistical analysis is preferred
Essential Functions:
This position reports to the Chair of Department of Clinical Sciences (80%) for responsibilities related to the faculty appointment and to the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs (ADAA) for the School of Pharmacy (20%) for the responsibilities related to the Director of Programmatic Assessment appointment.
Faculty appointment Develops, coordinates, and teaches content within the Fred Wilson School of Pharmacy integrated curriculum as appointed by the Department Chair Develops and offers an elective course that corresponds with expertise area(s) as needed Provides mentorship and advisement for students in the School of Pharmacy as appointed by Dean's Office and Department Chair Collaborates in the clinical environment with established pharmacists to enhance services through education, research and quality improvement initiatives Provides unique targeted technical assistance when asked Perform statistical analysis and other data analytic functions when asked Maintain scholarly activities in therapeutically relevant areas and conduct research in multidisciplinary fashion Serve as liaison between the Fred Wilson School of Pharmacy and the faculty member's practice site if appropriate or other clinical practice collaborations as applicable Publishes scientific findings in peer-reviewed journals, produce case reports and present research findings at national and international meetings as allowed by the allocated research effort Integrates and enhances collaborations among the clinical sciences and basic sciences in areas of research, education, and service Advances the service missions of the School of Pharmacy and High Point University to meet community needs.
Act as a representative and advocate for the department, both within the University and externally Participates in committees within the department, School of Pharmacy, and University and participates in professional and governmental organizations as appointed by the Department Chair Utilize ExamSoft or other software to conduct all School of Pharmacy assessments Abides by University and School of Pharmacy policies Undertake other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Chair of Clinical Sciences Director of Programmatic Assessment Collaborate with the ADAA in developing/recommending/implementing assigned elements of the FWSOP Assessment and Strategic Plans Lead the assimilation, analysis and representation of assessment data as needed to support the FWSOP Assessment Plan; Provide and present data and reports as requested to the Curriculum and Assessment Committees; Lead creation and presentation of ad hoc reports to the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs (ADAA) and FWSOP administration as needed; Collaborate with the Dean and ADAA in preparation of accreditation data and reports as needed; Support assessment data requests for other FWSOP standing committees and the University as needed; Faculty member holding this title reports to the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs for the responsibilities associated with this Director role and to department chair for other responsibilities; Work allocation for this role is 20% effort and is classified as administrative service.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
