The Business Analyst serves as an essential member of the Leadership team.
This position requires strong project management and organization skills, with the ability to think strategically and deliver on company initiatives.
Position Summary Piedmont Candy is a successful confectionary business that is poised for significant growth.
We are looking for a talented individual committed to supporting that opportunity.
The Business Analyst position requires strong analytical skills as the person in this position will be responsible for generating and analyzing accounting, production, customer, inventory, shipping data, and sales reports.
Vendor portals and syndicated data.
This person will also be responsible for supporting daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reporting requirements.
An ability to analyze current processes and identify opportunities to automate or increase the capacity of a process is a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities Review and report on customer volume trends and history Review, analyze and report out syndicated data trends (Nielsen reports) Prepare customer and client invoices, Process check payments and prepare deposits, Contact customers regarding past due invoices, Input data into Quick Books Assist the CFO on financial reporting (example:
COGS analysis).
Manage customer-specific vendor portals.
Due to the seasonality of our business, the secondary responsibilities of the Business Analyst as time permits are:
Analysis of production, maintenance and commodity purchasing data Generation of reports to support Key Process Indicators in the areas of Quality, Productivity, Safety, Delivery Ad Hoc member of the sales, finance and operations teams Qualifications College Intern:
Minimum junior equivalent course load with focus on current major (prefer:
Accounting, Marketing, Management, Business Systems, Supply Chain majors) Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
High degree of adaptability and flexibility.
As a small Company, the Candidate must have the desire to wear multiple hats and enjoy the opportunity to work in several functional areas.
Ability to work with others to create a positive, professional and productive work environment.
Experience with QuickBooks, and/or other financial suite software:
Excel and Powerpoint.
Database experience preferred.
