Summary:
The IT Help Desk Technician will be responsible for helping users resolve issues with computer hardware or software.
This person will respond to user inquiries, assess problems and issues with IT equipment and applications, and help resolve these issues for users.
Essential Duties:
Provides technical support to users by researching and answering questions, troubleshooting problems, and maintaining end-use devices and LAN performance.
Provides answers to end users by identifying problems, researching answers, and guiding the end user through corrective steps.
Creating documentation and maintaining service and incident requests.
Entry point for all incoming technical requests Triage incidents Escalate and assign request tickets Additional duties may arise and not listed
Qualifications:
Problem-solving LAN knowledge Verbal communication Windows Operating systems Phone skills Customer service Quality focus PC proficiency Desktop System administration Knowledge of end-user devices (tablets/mobile phones) Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, MS Cloud, and SharePoint familiarity is needed.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Prior information technology or systems administration experience preferred Familiarity with telephone, office, and mobile devices a plus Job Type:
Full-time, In-Office position
