As an IT Assistant, you will provide technical support and assistance to the IT department in managing and maintaining the organization's information technology systems.
Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting in the implementation of IT projects, and providing end-user support.
You will work closely with IT professionals to ensure the smooth operation of the organization's IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities:

Technical Support:
? Respond to user inquiries and provide technical assistance and support.
? Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
? Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software components.
2.
End-User Support:
? Provide support to end-users on IT-related matters, including software applications, hardware devices, and connectivity issues.
? Assist in the setup and configuration of user accounts and access permissions.
? Conduct training sessions to help users better understand and utilize IT resources.
3.
IT Infrastructure Maintenance:
? Assist in the maintenance and monitoring of servers, networks, and other IT infrastructure components.
? Perform routine system updates and backups to ensure data integrity and security.
4.
Documentation:
? Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT systems, procedures, and configurations.
? Create user guides and manuals to facilitate end-user understanding of IT tools and systems.
5.
Troubleshooting:
? Investigate and troubleshoot network problems, software errors, and other IT-related issues.
? Collaborate with other IT professionals to find effective solutions to complex technical problems.
6.
Collaboration:
? Collaborate with other IT team members to implement and support IT projects.
? Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure a cohesive IT environment.
7.
Security:
? Assist in implementing and enforcing IT security policies and procedures.
? Participate in periodic security audits and assessments.
8.
Stay Informed:
? Stay abreast of technological advancements and industry trends.
? Continuously update skills and knowledge in line with emerging technologies.
Position Requirements Knowledge & Experience ? High School Diploma ? Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
? Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
? Familiarity with common operating systems, networking concepts, and IT security principles.
