RESPONSIBILITIES Document and maintain plant procedures and work instructions to support quality system.
Assist the quality manager in performing FMEA's, and developing process control plans.
Collect, analyze, and report quality data from production operations as well as customer feedback to communicate quality performance.
Facilitate the completion and implementation of corrective action requests from customers, management review, and internal failures.
Document effectiveness of corrective actions.
Perform product and process audits to gage effectiveness of associate training and product conformance to specifications.
Follow up with all sample orders to ensure samples are shipped on time and meet all customer requirements.
Coordinate physical inventory of textiles, and Consumer Products display packaging per inventory schedule.
Troubleshoot inventory variances from physical count and perpetual inventory.
Ensure textile and packaging inventory is maintained neat and orderly and stored to minimize damage.
Implement and maintain FIFO on all textile and CP packaging Perform data collection and analysis at the request of the Plant Manager and / or CP Quality Manager.
Prepare spreadsheets and / or other reports under the direction of the Plant Manager.
Maintain and communicate obsolete and / or slow moving items to CP purchasing function.
Maintain timely, accurate and complete reporting of routine and pertinent information to upper management and other interested parties.
Maintains a safe, clean and organized work environment.
Fills in as needed on the line and as needed in other areas.
QUALIFICATIONS / OTHER REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma or equivalent, documented quality Systems and SPC.
Minimum of 2 years' factory experience in QA/QC.
Knowledge - ISO 9000 Quality System Standard, SPC, Quality Planning, FIFO.
Computer skill with MS Office -excel, word, power point, power apps, etc Aptitude and ability to perform first-level troubleshooting.
Able to read and interpret product specifications and schematics.
Excellent math skills.
Able to learn and comprehend Standard Quality Practices.
Be personable while training and engaging in quality practices.
Able to work with minimal or no supervision and meet established goals in a timely manner.
Must be a creative thinker, results oriented, focused, and attentive to detail and accuracy.
Able to read, write, and communicate thoughts, ideas, requests and problems to fellow employees and management accordingly.
Must be a self-starter, team player, work well with others and have a positive attitude Must have ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines for multiple customers and projects at once.
Flexibility to work twelve hour shift 6:
00am to 6:
00pm if required.
