Reporting to the Founder, the Marketing Assistant will create digital content that drives social engagement and assist with implementing our digital marketing plan.
This role is responsible for assisting with executing social media content creation, and implementation of digital marketing campaigns across email, social media, ads, and our website.
You will take a hands-on role in content creation and assisting the Founder with digital and print marketing content.

Key Duties and
Responsibilities:
Assist with social media campaign coordination including researching key events, holidays, compiling social data, and providing analytical support.
Strong understanding of Pen+Pillar's aesthetic and customer, and ability to create high-quality, editorial-style content.
Ability to organize digital content in an efficient and organized manner.
Gather weekly content in studio and behind the scenes (video and photos) Understand and follow social platform related trends and develop tailored content for each of them.
Edit and create video (Reels) and graphic content for emails, social media, ads, and our website.
Assist with website updates, product updates, page updates and template development.
Assist with developing content for paid advertising, including shooting and editing content.
Gathering weekly content of studio sessions / clients (Videos, Reels, photos, etc.
) Assist with print marketing campaigns.
Other projects as required Your
Experience:
First-hand experience using and posting on social media platforms including Instagram, and Pinterest.
Strong graphic and video editing skills using tools like Canva and Adobe CS.
Know how to use DSLR camera and have a strong knowledge of studio lighting.
Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, etc.
) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
Maintains excellent writing and language skills.
On top of the latest social media trends, and a general love for social media.
Have a positive, can-do attitude.
You're up for any task and ready to dive in and learn.
A strong work ethic.
Able to work independently and prioritize your tasks.
Must have access to a personal laptop and reliable high-speed internet as some remote work required.
Must have access to a smartphone capable of filming video.
Nice to have:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
