We are in search of a 2nd shift Production Lead for our production facility located in High Point, NC.
We expect someone with demonstrated leadership experience, who is approachable, accepts responsibility, practices confidentiality, leads with a safety first culture mindset and is mutually supportive.
The position will oversee the warehouse, production, and fabrication operation including:
direction of work, product flow, quality, yield, efficiencies, and continuous improvement.
Primary Responsibilities ? Leads fabrication and warehouse departments to operate in a safe, clean and efficient manner while producing product that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
? Self-starter that can coordinate the effective use of time, labor and resources to minimize or eliminate downtime.
? Comfortable learning and operating various pieces of production equipment.
? Must be able read a tape measure, interpret data and determine best yields from material.
? Maintains inventories, including cycle counts, re-order points, month end reconciliations, etc.
? Trains, cross-trains and evaluates employees to focus resources for continuous improvement.
? Committed to building a strong team culture that enhances growth opportunities for team members.
? Strong communicator that can provide leadership, delegate assignments and hold people accountable through coaching, counseling and appropriate discipline when necessary.
? Promotes and demonstrates company's core values, culture, policies and procedures through communication and actions.

Qualification / Requirements ? Minimum High School Diploma and 3
years of related supervisory experience managing 10-15 people minimum in a manufacturing environment.
? Must be capable of learning and comprehending job assignments, possess good memory and recall abilities, troubleshoot problems and independently implement solutions.
? Capable of operating in a fast pace environment where production changes can and will come regularly.
? Ability to plan, schedule and work additional hours.
? Solid working knowledge of MS Office products including Word and Excel is required.
Experience with bar code systems also a plus.
? Can work independently, keep an organized work space, and pays attention to detail.
? Is approachable, accepts responsibility, practices confidentiality, and is mutually supportive.
? Regular attendance and punctuality are required for this position.
