ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Support Production in all operational aspects of assigned machine models.
Provide documentation for plant to track things such as lot, serial number, and specification materials.
Assist in identifying and resolving inventory discrepancies to ensure the accuracy of the Materials Requirement Plan.
Document and communicate purchase orders or purchase order changes to Japanese suppliers.
Be aware and communicate significant supplier situations that may impact objectives and supply.
Participate in company initiatives and contribute to continuous process improvements.
Assist in inventory counts to ensure system data matches what is out on the floor.
Communicate quality issues to suppliers and coordinate resolutions of the issues with suppliers.
Enter data into the system with 100% accuracy and zero errors when updating the production schedule.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Prepare special reports as needed.
Maintain files and records.
Ability to work with different members of the supervisory staff.

Bilingual in Japanese is a PLUS.
