POSITION SUMMARY
The Sr. Benefits Administrator position is responsible for directing and planning the day-to-day operations of group benefit programs (group health, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, worker's compensation, life insurance, flexible spending plan, health savings plan, and the 401(k) plan retirement plan). This position will provide excellent customer service and quality benefit plans.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with broker to analyze, track and improve existing programs and monitor benefit administration.
Provide analytical and technical support in the delivery of the benefit programs.Performs benefits administration related to new hire onboarding, terminations, open enrollment, invoice reconciliation and COBRA administration.
Assist in the management of the benefit plan renewal process.
Collect experience data from available resources.
Serve as primary contact for plan vendors and third party administrators.
Serve as primary contact for IMC team members on all benefits related inquiries.
Coordinate transfer of data to external contacts for
services
, premiums and plan administration.
Work effectively to make sure the plans run smoothly.
Investigate discrepancies and provide information in non-routine situations.
Evaluate and revise internal processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
Document, and maintain administrative procedures for assigned benefit processes.
Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations.
Assure timeliness and accuracy of required filings.
Develop long-range objectives regarding benefit programs in conjunction with the HR team.
Oversee maintenance of employee benefit files and updating of employee payroll records.
Work with brokers to gather group health claims experience monthly and review quarterly with leadership team.
Analyze the current benefits, evaluating the usage, services, coverage, effectiveness, cost, plan experience, and competitive trends in benefits programs and identify the company's stance.
Perform plan audits.
Review both short and long range cost estimates/ projections and relevant statistical analyses regarding modifications in benefit programs and implementation of new programs.
Review industry trends. Complete benefit surveys and review information obtained from the results. Analyze complex benefit information. Forecast trends and assist with future benefit designs. Develop specific recommendations for review by management.
Monitor administrative costs of benefit programs and recommend cost containment strategies including alternative methods for administration and funding. Prepare budgetary recommendations and assist in the monitoring, verifying and reconciling of budgeted funds.
Provide customer service support to internal and external customers.
Develop communication tools to enhance understanding of the company's benefits package.
Design and distribute materials for benefit orientations, open enrollment and summary plan descriptions.
Create and conduct presentations using audiovisual tools including power point and videos.
Administers the Company's Leave of Absence and wage continuation programs.
In conjunction with Security, Administers the Company's Worker's Comp program.
Prepares and maintains employee files.
Verifies and maintains I-9 documentation for High Point.
Assists with processing of terminations from a benefits perspective.
Assists HR Director with various research projects and/or special projects.
Assists or prepares correspondence.
Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
A bachelor's degree and five to seven (5-7) years' experience in the benefits field
PHR and CEBS professional designations preferred.
Prior experience in benefits administration is required.
Prior experience with an HRIS database, ADP is preferred.
Prior experience with high deductible / consumer drive health plans is required.
Prior experience with self funded benefits plans is required.
Project and team management/leadership skills and experience. Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates. Capability of effective planning and priority setting. Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical skills and a thorough knowledge of plan designs. Ability to understand, evaluate and make judgment on the proposals (RFP's).Requires prior knowledge of principles and practices of human resources.
Advanced Excel skills preferred.
Requires effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and strong
computer
literacy. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
