Serve as team member for analysis of business problems and propose software solutions as appropriate. Provide estimates as required; convert system designs and technical specifications into program code for moderately sized applications; develop, test and maintain database software; comply with standards and processes related to producing quality software and documentation. Provide project manager with accurate status of assigned activities; escalate issues to project manager for timely resolution; and work with little direct supervision. Optimize/troubleshoot database code and correct as required; provide support to resolve systems related issues; includes periodic 24x7 on-call support as required by team's scheduled rotation.
(1) Masters Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related degree, plus 1 years of software development experience;
OR
(2) Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related degree, plus 5 years of progressive software development experience. Foreign equivalents accepted.
